Bath seal and shower pole fixed

The shower pole attachment is broken and the bath need resealing around the edge.

Shower holder brocken

So off the B&Q to source a new fitting. This can take a bit of time and persistance to find the right item & at a reasonable cost. There where items costed at over £50 and not always the best solution.

The seal around the bath also needs attention, as you can see the seal is messy and probably not affective. So now I have the old shower fitting removed from the wall I will remove the old silicon and clean up the area, this is quite a time consuming job as all the old silicon should be removed.

There that looks better now the new silicon is added. Now to fit the new shower pole.

Great job! Now let’s give everything a clean.

Basin in Bathroom

The bathroom basin is coming away from the wall & a tap needs replacing.

So, removed the basin and cut back the water feeds to allow me to fit the flex pipes.
Handyman Services
After cleaning up the wall and removing the old trim, I fitted the basin back and attached the water supply, making sure the hot & cold were connected to the right tap, they were not before. Fixed the waste back and turned on the supply, checking there were no leaks.
Finished off with white silicone around the back of the basin to the wall. Job done.

Removed laminate flooring and replaced with tiles

As you can see the leak had affected the laminate flooring, so time to replace. The customer wanted floor tiles and for the pipes to be boxed in under the towel rail.

Bathroom in Wynyard redesigned.

The customer wanted to remove the large boxed in area under the window in order to make more space. I suggested moving the toilet & wash basin around so the waste from the toilet was closer to the down pipe. The supply to the basin was chased in which allowed the positioning to be directly under the window.

Removed the utilities & opened up the boxing in, to view the waste & supply.

I have already removed the toilet was, but you can see the down pipe. Once I was happy with the pipe work re design I boxed in as tight as possible and started tiling.

The customer wanted lino tiles place for the flooring so, I added some 5 mm ply as a clean surface to work on. Once I had placed the flooring tiles I continued with fitting the toilet & wash basin to the new positions.

Looking great!

Hi Chris.  All looks great. The floor tiles just make a particular bold feature and the work you did on the sloped box just adds to the space. Happy customer.
